Highland Gift Shop had an amazing time at the games.
These are our favourite games event and it never fails to impress. A bonnie day apart from some strong momemnts of wind where we had to chase after our stock and then at 5pm there was a torrential rain storm. It may have just lasted for 5 minutes but I'm sure we got a months worth of rain.
As always we love to meet new people and this year was the motherload with new friends made from USA, Canada, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, India and a few new locals to boot.

We are delighted to be confirmed as
the very first sponsor of the first ever pride parade in the far north of Scotland
This was an amazing event with official figures from Police Scotland showing attendance at just over 1,000 people which completely surpassed our estimates
A magical day had by everyone who came along from all over Scotland including Edinburgh, Grangemouth, Stirling, Moray, Aberdeen, Glasgow and more.
Next years pride Parade is already under planning

Proud Scotland Awards
I had an amazing time at the award ceremony.
Despite not winning the award I still feel like a winner simply for being recognised for the effort and work that goes into supporting the LGBTQ+ and Pride community.
I met so many wonderful people who were there to represent themselves, other individuals, educational groups, charity groups, arts and media groups and enterprises across all business areas.
A big shout out to our friends from Stepping Out who are also from Caithness. It was a first time for them and I. Despite not winning anything, it is a great honour to represent our wee corner of Scotland. Fingers crossed for next year!
