I can hardly believe that I actually won an award at the very prestigious Proud Scotland Awards

I feel really humbled as well as excited about taking home the Community Ally Award 2026

I of course thank everyone who took the time to kindly nominate me. From the bottom of my heart I really the love and appreciation and it means absolutely everything to me and inspires me to carry on and keep pushing forward.

I also wish to thank the organisers.

The evening was truly unforgettable with an amazing atmosphere. It was a celebration of love, resilience and community and I am so very grateful to have been a part of it.
