Highland Gift Shop is a wee family run business based in a town called Wick in the Scottish highlands. We have no bricks and mortar shop, we simply operate online or at wonderful events around Scotland throughout the year.

The photo above was taken at the Proud Scotland Awards 2025 where I was nominated for the LGBTQ+ Community Ally Award.
Wherever and whenever we attend events, we provide a space for people to relax. The space we provide is a safe space for everyone. We support many LGBTQ+ activities, groups and events and attend as many events as possible throughout Scotland.

We have 3 dogs that allow us to live with them.
Rebel - Our chocolate Labrador. She is so beautiful and just the best ever dog for being around children. Rebel does think she is the same size as our Chihuahua's though!
Fern & Hunni - Chihuahua's.
Fern rules the roost. Despite being the oldest of the 2 Chihuahua's, she is the smallest. However, she is the BOSS.
Hunni is my baby and I would be completely lost with out her.
Sadly, none of them are great travellers so they don't come to events.
Caithness Seal Rescue Rehab & Release (CSRRR)
My wife is a volunteer with the CSRRR. They rescue seals that have been abandoned, stranded or attacked. They care for them by tube or bottle feeding them then slowly introducing chunks of fish and then whole fish.
They tend to many seals who have been attacked by Orca's and rehabilitate them to get them ready to release back into the wild.
