We are often asked the difference between burning incense compared to scented candles, wax melts and oils. Whilst we also enjoy candles, melts and oils, we have found in our experience that they do not offer an immediately noticeable scent, nor a lingering or lasting smell once diminished.

The biggest difference and in our opinion, the most important factor, is the ability of incense to soak up and remove stale odours. Whilst candles, melts and oils will burn longer, they tend to be considerably more expensive than incense.
